About Yoga Mama 

Hi I'm Kyla!  

I offer personalized yoga classes and postpartum doula care. My goal is to support women along their motherhood journey through yoga and doula work. 

Why a Postpartum Doula?

Research shows that moms, dads, and babies have an easier time with this transition if a good support team is in place. 

Some of the duties include:

  • Breastfeeding support
  • Help with the emotional and physical recovery after birth
  • Light housekeeping so that mom does not feel so overwhelmed
  • Running errands
  • Assistance with newborn care such as diapering, bathing, feeding and comforting
  • Light meal preparation
  • Baby soothing techniques
  • Sibling care
  • Referrals to local resources such as parenting classes, pediatricians, lactation support and support groups

Benefits of Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga


  • Being immersed in a community of other women going through a similar journey can be reassuring and comforting.


  • Classes are designed to target common areas of discomfort and offer specific poses to help create ease for labor and strengthen areas for recovery.


  • Mom has time and space to connect to baby in her tummy. After baby is born, mom can practice safe and restorative yoga with baby beside them or on their mat.


  • Parenting themes are interwoven into class so that mom will feel more confident and prepared to make educated decisions during pregnancy, labor, delivery, and parenthood for her and her partner.
